If you are interested in staying nearby, to visit or to follow the Nelson County Trails, quite a number of welcoming bed & breakfasts, inns, and cabins are available year-round.

Wintergreen Resort, which is about 20 miles north of the farm, has condominium and hotel-style accommodations. It's a bit pricey, but has nature trails and a fitness center with a large pool in case of suboptimal weather.
